Job Details:
\n
• Work in Cardiac Operating Room with 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
\n• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
\n• Cardiac call required as part of position responsibilities
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs when necessary
\n• Handle cardiac procedures including atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
\n• Work with specialized equipment including cell saver and laser technology
\n• Manage blood and blood product administration, infection control, and specimen handling
\n• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
\n• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
\n• Complete time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
\n• Pass EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
\n• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
