We are seeking experienced Plumbers with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience, including strong preventive maintenance expertise. The ideal candidate will perform routine inspections, diagnose plumbing issues, and complete repairs to ensure the reliable operation of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who prioritizes safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to reduce downtime and emergency repairs
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair water supply, drainage, and waste systems
- Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures including toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, and water heaters
- Identify leaks, clogs, corrosion, and system inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and plumbing schematics
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Respond to service calls and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with maintenance teams, property managers, and contractors as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience
- Proven experience with preventive and routine plumbing maintenance
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools
- Experience working with PVC, CPVC, copper, and cast iron piping
- Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumber license
- Experience in commercial, multi-family, or industrial environments
- Water heater installation and service experience
- Backflow prevention or related certifications
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in confined spaces, crawl spaces, and mechanical rooms
- Stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
