Due Date: September 19, 2024 by 9am EST

Duration: Through June 30, 2026. Multiple POs may be issued to effectuate the whole Contract term. Estimated 1880 hours per year.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Consultant will work on-site at the DEP’s BMC, 2600 Blair Stone Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32303. DEP reserves the right to change this work site to another DEP building within Tallahassee to meet the needs of the Department. DEP will provide a PC/laptop and associated software to meet the services required within this contract. DEP will provide a desk (cubicle) and chair, network account and other applications as required for the position. This will also include standard office supplies such as paper, pens and pencils.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Documents Required for Submission - MUST COMPLETE and Include a total of the three (3) documents

1. Consultant Resume: A detailed and accurate resume of the candidate’s experience and qualifications (limited to three (3) pages per candidate) for the Scope of Work as outlined.

2. Appendix D: Candidate References & Skills (DEP may conduct reference checks) (See Attached)

3. Appendix F: Resume Self-Certification Form. Must use the consultant’s legal name as it appears on official documents, e.g., Form I-9. (See Attached)

Appendix B: Required Tasks to be performed:

· Work with software developers, business analysts, data analysts, and other technical and non- technical subject-matter experts to coordinate and facilitate work.

· Assess and continually improve existing processes, leveraged from Scrum Retrospective meetings.

· Work with various technical teams (DevOps, DBAs, Network Administrators, Enterprise Development Architects, PMO, etc.) to assist in resolving issues/barriers with applications.

· Proactively identify risks and issues affecting the Scrum teams and the portfolio. Appropriately escalate these issues, with recommendations, to (senior) management.

· Effectively identify change and use appropriate protocols to manage and communication this change effectively.

· Hold daily status meetings with Scrum Team members, to facilitate the flow of information and provide an outlet to remove obstacles/barriers.

· Effectively coordinate resources and assignments among project assignees. Ensure work assignments are assigned to the appropriate team member (s) and that service levels are met.

· Adhere to the DEP project management methodology, standards, policies and procedures, as well as those technical standards and policies relevant to assigned user stories/tasks.

· Manage relationships with DEP program area business partners. Develop strong and collaborative relationships with customers to achieve positive project outcomes.

· Demonstrate strong relationship and interpersonal skills in working with technical staff, program staff and vendor community.
