Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A reputable Southeast Florida school district is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students across multiple campuses for the 2025-2026 school year. These full- and part-time contract positions offer the opportunity to serve diverse student populations in public school and private evaluation settings.
Location: Stuart, FL, and surrounding areas along the Southeast Florida coast
Assignment Duration: January 15, 2026 June 2, 2026
Schedule: Flexible based on assignment, with options ranging from 1 to 5 days per week
Settings Include:
- Middle schools supporting general and Intensive Development (InD) unit students
- K-8 campuses with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Cluster programs
- Private school evaluation teams conducting clinical assessments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and follow recommended intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families, to promote student success
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred, especially for evaluation roles
- Prior school-based experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within team settings across varied school environments
