Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Hollywood, FL, serving students from preschool through high school. This role offers an opportunity to support communication development across various grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The position is contract-based, requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students needs.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each students goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students across preschool to high school age groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with department and school regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Department of Health.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations from preschool to high school.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work with various grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
