With a fully equipped company vehicle and support staff, you will be able to effectively work at multiple client locations on any given day during a typical 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday schedule. Compensation is an hourly rate based upon a 40-hour work week. Occasional emergency or special project installations could allow for overtime income potential. Monthly bonuses are based on productivity with an emphasis on making sure our clients are completely satisfied. This is a full-time position for a candidate that is looking for a career in the industry, not just another job.
A typical day could include installing Cat5/Cat6 data cabling in existing office environments or on new construction sites, troubleshooting network switches, routers, wireless access points, repair and typical maintenance of copy/print/fax machines, installing CCTV camera solutions, training clients on camera and access control functionality, investigating issues with poor audio quality on business phone systems and determining if issue is internal or caused by an external service provider. If it's between the service provider's dmarc and the keyboard/desk phone you will be expected to handle it. KMS will provide the daily plan of action, setup the appointments, and take care of any correspondence and invoicing. As the field service technician, you will have the freedom to focus on the task at hand and take time to do the job right while still being mindful of the client's needs.
