Job Summary: Works at construction sites performing tasks such as demolition, installation of all interior and exterior finishes, doors/frames and general framing knowledge and execution.
General Responsibilities:
- Reads plans, instructions, and specifications to determine scope of work
- Measures, marks, or records openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed
- Demolish and install interior finishes
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as painting
- Picking up materials as required
- Resolve conflicts or miscommunication that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
- Able to operate construction equipment, such as forklift, if needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years Commercial Construction experience, particularly in removing and replacing interior and exterior finishes
- Must provide own truck and all tools
- Understanding of basic plumbing and electrical systems
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Aptitude in math and strong problem-solving skills
