A per diem pharmacist position is available with a concierge pharmacy located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This pharmacy specializes in same or next-day medication delivery via courier, primarily operating as a closed-door pharmacy with limited medication pickup options. The role focuses on providing excellent retail pharmacy services in a fast-paced environment supported by skilled pharmacy technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the pharmacy
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and daily pharmacy operations
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional patient counseling and support regarding prescribed medications
- Utilize Pioneer Rx software for pharmacy management tasks
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist in Florida (FL licensure required)
- Experience in retail pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, prescription processing, and patient care
- Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians
Schedule:
- Per diem shifts on Fridays: 2/6, 2/13, 2/20
