Conflation Analyst (GIS Analyst)
On-Site: Downtown Jacksonville, FL |6-Month Contract (Potential to Extend to 12 Months)

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze complex data sets to ensure accuracy and quality.

Acquire data from primary and secondary sources; maintain and update databases and data systems.

Compare and conflate:

Engineering asset data with GIS data to identify matching assets and update the engineering data system.

Engineering track diagrams with GIS maps, ensuring diagrams are accurate and current.

Field-reported track data corrections to maintain data integrity.

Direct and execute analytical research of engineering databases using geospatial analysis based on GIS data.

Map or read site plans with precision.

Read and interpret legacy valuation maps and agreements dating back up to 150 years.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Review reports, printouts, and performance indicators to filter, clean, and correct data errors.

Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of GIS experience
- Technologies: Proficiency in GIS applications such as ArcGIS, Oracle Unifier, and Bentley Optram
