Overview:A well-established legal firm in the heart of downtown Miami is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time, onsite direct hire opportunity offering a professional work environment and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reports
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court filings and deadlines
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical)
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally
- Assist with billing, timekeeping, and expense tracking
- Conduct basic legal research and document retrieval
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal administrative or legal assistant role
- Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; legal certification or training preferred
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
