Job Description

Global Clinix is seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Investigator (PI) with a background in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or any specialty to join our dynamic clinical research team.

This part-time role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of clinical research while maintaining flexibility in your medical practice. The PI will play a pivotal role in ensuring protocol compliance, patient safety, and regulatory adherence while supporting the success and integrity of ongoing and future clinical trials.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all study participants at the research site
  • Review and evaluate participant medical histories for eligibility
  • Conduct informed consent discussions and respond to participant questions thoroughly
  • Perform physical examinations and medical evaluations as required
  • Review laboratory and diagnostic data and provide clinical oversight
  • Administer and/or oversee the administration of investigational products
  • Remain knowledgeable on the investigational product via protocol, Investigator’s Brochure (IB), and sponsor documents
  • Report serious adverse events (SAEs) and safety concerns in a timely and accurate manner to the sponsor and IRB
  • Participate in all phases of site activity, including site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits
  • Ensure that subjects receive appropriate medical care and follow-up if the study is discontinued or terminated


Qualifications

  • Valid M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Active license to practice medicine in the state of Florida
  • Preferred experience in clinical trials, either as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator
  • Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable FDA regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred


Employment Details

  • Part-time role: estimated 10–20 hours/week
