Legal Executive Assistant
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Executive Assistant to provide administrative and executive-level support to attorneys and firm leadership. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, along with discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information. The Legal Executive Assistant will act as a key liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal teams, ensuring seamless daily operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive-level administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.

Draft, edit, and proofread legal correspondence, contracts, and other documents.

Manage and prioritize incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and client inquiries.

Coordinate and maintain case files, client records, and confidential legal documents (electronic and hard copy).

Prepare presentations, reports, and meeting materials for attorney and client use.

Assist with billing, time entry, and expense reporting; liaise with accounting as needed.

Conduct basic legal research and compile information for attorney review.

Manage deadlines, docketing, and court filings as directed.

Act as a liaison with clients, external counsel, and stakeholders in a professional manner.

Support business development efforts, including client outreach, event coordination, and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an executive assistant or legal assistant; prior law firm or corporate legal department experience strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., Clio, NetDocs, iManage, or similar).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High degree of discretion, professionalism, and client service orientation.
