Staffing Proxy is partnering with Hearing Again America, an Audiologist-owned hearing healthcare organization with 35+ clinic locations across Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, and Maryland. They are seeking a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to step into an established, long-term role serving South Miami and the Florida Keys.
Position Overview
This role supports both the South Miami office and select Florida Keys locations and follows a consistent, well-defined weekly schedule that has been successfully managed for over a decade.
The schedule is structured and predictable, combining urban and Keys-based clinics into one cohesive weekly route.
The provider will work primarily in South Miami at the beginning of the week, then travel mid-week to support Marathon and Key Largo, with an overnight stay in Key West before returning north at the end of the week.
This opportunity is well suited for a Hearing Instrument Specialist who values autonomy, enjoys variety in their workweek, and is comfortable with a travel-based clinical schedule while remaining part of a larger, supportive organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations for adult patients
- Recommend hearing solutions aligned with patient goals, lifestyle, and assessment results
- Program, fit, verify, and adjust hearing aids using best-practice approaches
- Provide counseling, troubleshooting, and follow-up care to support long-term outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and team members to support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Florida Hearing Instrument Specialist License (required)
- Experience fitting and programming hearing aids
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary + commission range: $85,000–$105,000+
