We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Infant Teacher who demonstrates a strong communication philosophy, a collaborative spirit, and an ability to actively engage young children in meaningful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in an early childhood or Montessori setting and a genuine passion for early education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Follow Montessori philosophy. Montessori guidance will be provided to support both children and teacher.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and creativity.Communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, and team members.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a positive and cohesive classroom and school community.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress.
- Ensure compliance with DCF licensing standards and school policies.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications and uphold safety standards at all times.
- Complete all annual in service hours when needed.
- Attend monthly staff meetings.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Early childhood education: 1 year (Preferred)
Language:
- English & Spanish (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- DCF 45 Hours (Required)
- CDA Certification (Preferred)
