The Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordination, supervising, and performing maintenance and repair activities for company buildings, hangars, and equipment. This role provides leadership to the Facilities and Maintenance team, ensures a safe and compliant work environment, and oversees preventive maintenance, construction projects, and resource planning. The position requires working knowledge of skilled trades such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, along with strong organizational and supervisory skills.
Crestview Aerospace Overview
Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman, and several others to deliver complex design-to-build and build-to print assemblies. Crestview Aerospace provides these assemblies in support of in-service platforms, such as: H-47, V-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18, KC-135, E-2, and weapon systems such as Harpoon and SLAM-ER. Crestview Aerospace is comprised of two (2) manufacturing sites, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri and Crestview, FL, and employs approximately 300 professionals.
Essential Job Functions
- Supervises personnel in the Facilities and Maintenance Department in the performance of their job duties.
- Ensure all equipment on the facility is in best working order possible. Supervises installation and movement of all equipment.
- Supervises all new construction and re-modeling projects.
- Monitors team manpower requirements and requests new, or replacement personnel as needed.
- Counsels team personnel on work-related questions and problems. Enforces and oversees compliance with company and Team policies/procedures. Establish Team policies/procedures.
- Ensure Methods Planning Team compliance with applicable laws and regulations established by OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local agencies.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise with the Maintenance Team.
- Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of buildings and hangars.
- Manage allocation of department resources to ensure priority projects are implemented in a timely manner.
- Assures prompt resolution of scheduling, equipment and maintenance problems, and proper implementation of policies and procedures.
- Provides oversight of budget administration, planning, and scheduling activities, workflow analysis, and recommendation of capitol acquisitions or modifications.
Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Desired, minimum of five years of specialized experience including engineering design scheduling, estimating, and consulting on a program or project level.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing setting.
Work Environment:
- Primarily works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
- Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
- May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.

Physical Requirements:
Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
