Scope of Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete project lifecycle, including planning, execution, control, and closure.
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders, keeping everyone updated on the project's progress.
- Ensure all necessary resources (human, financial, technological) are correctly allocated.
- Monitor project progress and address any obstacles or risks that arise.
- Lead the project team and ensure all processes are followed.
- Supervise the execution of specific projects within the infrastructure, such as migrations, new system implementations, updates, etc.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
- Act as the point of contact between project teams and other areas of the organization (e.g., Operations, Security, Development).
- Manage the technical team for each project, coordinating activities and ensuring tasks are completed according to requirements.
- Design, plan, and implement IT infrastructure solutions (servers, networks, storage, cloud) for new projects or improvements.
- Design, plan, and implement communication networks (internal and external), including routers, switches, VPNs, and network security.
- Design, plan, and implement servers, virtualization environments, and operating systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability requirements are met.
- Design, plan, and implement data storage and backup solutions, ensuring data is securely stored and can be recovered in case of failure.
- Design, plan, and implement database migration, ensuring performance, security, and integrity.
- Design, plan, and implement cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to provide scalable and efficient solutions for infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with information security regulations and internal policies during the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and regulatory risks that could impact project progress or success.
- Audit infrastructure processes and solutions to ensure they meet governance and security standards required by the organization and industry regulations (e.g., LGPD, PCI-DSS).
- Manage project planning and scheduling, ensuring deadlines and budgets are realistic and met.
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility analyses for new infrastructure projects, helping the team make informed decisions about implementing new technologies or changes to existing infrastructure.
- Support the Project Manager and Coordinators with data analysis and project status reports.
- Ensure smooth transition of projects to operations teams after implementation, providing necessary training and documentation.
- Support post-implementation phases, including monitoring, fine-tuning, and troubleshooting issues that arise after project delivery.
- Collect feedback from operational teams and users to continuously improve project processes and outcomes.
Experience:
This position requires at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in a DevOps role leadership technical team. Skilled in evaluating and recommending CI/CD technologies, hardware, and software solutions to meet organizational needs. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Long-term experience with system troubleshooting and monitoring tools and a deep knowledge of SDLC and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience in DevOps engineering and SDLC, focusing on enterprise environments.
- Professional vendor certifications from Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, or AWS Devops are highly recommended.
Language Skills: Excellent Written/Verbal skills, English and Spanish; Portuguese is considered a plus.
