Job Description:

Manages and coordinates activities of Parts Department staff – to include internal and external parts sales, transfers, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving, order processing and administrative functions. Ability to delicate daily functions of the parts department.

Responsibilities:

  • Recommends and implements measures to enhance customer service and elevate performance of Parts Department
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with both internal and external customers, utilizes conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
  • Maintains and reviews parts business practices and procedures, ensuring effective communication and flow within parts department
  • Interacts with Inventory Control Manager to ensure proper parts sales coverage and inventory levels
  • Promotes Parts revenue by ensuring local Parts activities focus on Corporate initiatives and market programs
  • Routinely analyzes business flow and adjusts employee schedules to meet the business needs as required
  • Reviews Parts Department Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and makes necessary adjustments to improve metrics
  • Ensures Parts Department staff is adequately trained
  • Promotes and adheres to all Safety regulations and policies
  • Performs annual employee reviews
  • Other duties as requested by management

Education/Experience/Skill:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • General knowledge of maintenance repair, parts department, sales, equipment ownership
  • Equipment parts experience a plus
