Russell Tobin's client, a retail company, is hiring a Travel Retail Support Associate in Miami, FL.
Job Title: Travel Retail Support Associate
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – remote may be considered based on budget)
Contract Duration: 6 months (Open-ended)
Employment Type: Temporary / Contract
Pay Rate: $27 - $29/hour
About the Role
We are seeking a junior-level Travel Retail Support Associate to support training and in-store marketing initiatives across the Americas (LATAM & North America). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with retail teams, delivering engaging training, and supporting visual merchandising execution.
The position involves regular interaction with store staff and external partners, so strong communication skills and an intermediate level of professional experience are preferred. While direct Travel Retail experience is not required, familiarity with the category is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Training
- Deliver engaging in-store training sessions on brand values, products, and key selling points
- Adapt training content to meet the needs of different store teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff and management
Marketing & Visual Support
- Support in-store visual refreshes in line with brand and campaign guidelines
- Coordinate with store teams to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Ensure stores have the most up-to-date brand visuals
- Maintain and update internal visual merchandising databases
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn and confidently present brand and product information
- Basic understanding of marketing, branding, or visual merchandising principles
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
Compliance Requirement
As part of contractor compliance, OIG/GSA/OFAC screening must be completed prior to placement, with results submitted according to client onboarding procedures.
