Job Summary
CORYS, Inc. is seeking a Power Production Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position supports our Power Business Unit, leading engineering and production activities that ensure the successful delivery of high-quality simulation projects. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in engineering or production management, with experience in the power or energy sector, and will bring strong expertise in workflow optimization, resource management, and project financial oversight.
Job Duties
Strategic Execution & Leadership
- Translate strategic goals into operational success, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and professional development to engineers and technicians.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration across the business unit.
Operations & Resource Optimization
- Lead day-to-day production activities, managing integrated schedules to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Optimize workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and maximize productivity.
- Track and report operations KPIs related to performance, quality, and efficiency.
Financial Oversight & Cost Management
- Monitor budgets, P&L, and project financials, flagging potential overruns early.
- Balance cost-effective resource allocation while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Implement cost-saving strategies to improve profitability across the business unit.
Business Development & Project Support
- Contribute technical expertise and resource planning for bid preparation and proposals.
- Define project scopes, man-hour estimates, and execution strategies.
- Support smooth project handoffs from award through execution.
Quality Control & Process Improvement
- Implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with client requirements and reduce rework.
- Standardize workflows, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build trust with clients through clear communication and reliable delivery.
- Conduct short-term on-site missions for meetings, business development, and customer acceptance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (equivalent technical experience will be considered).
- 5 to 10 years of proven experience in engineering or production management, ideally in the power or energy sector.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing technical teams.
- Expertise in workflow optimization, resource management, and KPI tracking.
- Solid understanding of project financials, including budgets and P&L reports.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
