Job Summary:

LHH is currently recruiting for an experienced Docketing Specialist to join a law firm’s Litigation and Bankruptcy teams. This role supports attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff by managing calendaring and docketing functions with a strong emphasis on accuracy, risk management, and procedural compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and calendar litigation and bankruptcy deadlines using rules-based docketing software

  • Review legal documents for relevant dates and enter them into the docketing system

  • Conduct research on court cases, dockets, and judge information using PACER, Westlaw, CourtDrive, and other databases

  • Respond to inquiries regarding court procedures, deadlines, and filings

  • Prepare and distribute docket reports and apply quality control measures

  • Maintain strong knowledge of State and Federal Court Rules

  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate on case-related tasks

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of litigation or bankruptcy docketing experience

  • Experience with Federal and State courts across multiple jurisdictions

  • Strong understanding of court rules, procedures, and electronic filing systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with legal document management systems

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
