The Industrial Kitchen Supervisor is a *Hands-On Manager* responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the operations of an industrial kitchen focused on producing lunches and bakery products for key clients. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and operational execution, ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability while driving new ideas and culinary proposals.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1.⁠ ⁠*Operational Management and Active Participation:*
- Supervise and work directly in daily production operations, leading by example and ensuring adherence to quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Ensure production and delivery timelines are efficient and meet client requirements.
- Coordinate task and resource allocation within the team to maximize productivity.

2.⁠ ⁠*Innovation and Menu Development:*
- Propose and develop new menu ideas and products tailored to market trends and key client needs.
- Evaluate and adjust recipes to optimize costs, quality, and production processes.
- Stay updated on culinary trends to offer innovative and differentiated proposals.

3.⁠ ⁠*Resource and Budget Management:*
- Control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and inventory, to ensure profitability.
- Oversee the management of supplies, ensuring efficient procurement aligned with operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of costs, inventory, and production, identifying improvement opportunities.

4.⁠ ⁠*Team Leadership and Development:*
- Act as a practical and motivating leader, training and developing the kitchen team through continuous education and guidance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes achieving operational and strategic goals.
- Evaluate team performance and set clear goals for individual and collective development.

5.⁠ ⁠*Regulatory Compliance:*
- Ensure compliance with all applicable hygiene, safety, and labor regulations in the industrial kitchen environment.
- Oversee internal and external audits to maintain optimal operational standards.

*Job Requirements:*

1.⁠ ⁠*Education and Experience:*
- Degree in Culinary Arts, Business Administration, Nutrition, or related fields. (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supervising industrial or high-volume kitchens.

2.⁠ ⁠*Technical Skills:*
- Experience in menu design, production planning, and culinary techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis in the culinary field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software tools.

3.⁠ ⁠*Soft Skills:*
- Hands-on leadership ability and decision-making under pressure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude and creativity to propose improvements and innovations.

4.⁠ ⁠*Languages:*
- Bilingual: Proficiency in *English and Spanish* is required to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.

5.⁠ ⁠*Other Requirements:*
- Availability to work flexible schedules and adapt to client and production needs.
