Our VCS Engineering team is seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineers to join our dynamic office in Tampa, FL. In this role, you’ll apply your deep expertise in corrosion engineering, structural assessment, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to lead projects that enhance the longevity and performance of critical infrastructure across the region.
As a Senior Engineer, you will take ownership of technical project execution, mentor junior engineers and technicians, and ensure our repair and rehabilitation solutions meet the highest standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead condition assessments and investigations using advanced NDT techniques
- Design and oversee cathodic protection systems
- Prepare and review project proposals and technical reports to ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards
- Mentor and train junior engineers, technicians, and field staff
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery
- Participate in client meetings and provide expert consultation on corrosion mitigation and structural rehabilitation
- Stay informed of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Materials, or Chemical Engineering preferred
- 5–7+ years of experience in corrosion engineering, structural assessment, or a related field
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification preferred
- Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2) certification preferred
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing project design or evaluation
- Strong background in NDT methods and corrosion mitigation strategies
- Post tensioning repair experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (English)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel as required, including overnight stays
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen
