Die Cutter Helper

Job Description

The Die Cutter Helper is responsible for assisting in setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting machinery used to cut, score, crease, or shape materials such as paper, cardboard, plastics, foams, or light metals. This role ensures that all products meet quality specifications while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up die-cutting machinery to meet production specifications.
  • Operate die-cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on die-cutting equipment as needed.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in machine operation for 2 or more recent years.
  • Proficiency in die cutting and die repair.
  • Ability to set and operate die-cutting machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
  • Experience in packaging is a plus.

Work Environment

  • Work in an open bay with large fans to ensure a comfortable environment.
  • The schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 6am to 2:30pm, Friday from 6am to 2:30pm, and Saturday overtime from 6am to 11am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Opa Locka, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
