Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years CVOR Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician in Hollywood, FL. This role involves supporting surgical teams in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all equipment is prepared and functioning properly, and maintaining a sterile environment to promote patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist the surgical team during cardiovascular operations.
- Ensure compliance with sterile processing and safety protocols.
- Monitor supplies and coordinate instrument sterilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CVOR Technician or similar role in cardiovascular surgical settings.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification or relevant training in operating room technology preferred.
