Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney on behalf of our client, a highly regarded law firm based in Coral Gables, Florida.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will have 3 + years of litigation experience, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial. This role offers the chance to work on challenging cases with a dynamic team that values collaboration, strategy, and excellence in advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.

Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

Draft high-quality legal pleadings, motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and correspondence.

Perform detailed legal research and analysis on sophisticated issues.

Participate in case strategy sessions with partners and clients, providing thoughtful, business-focused solutions.

Manage client communications with responsiveness and professionalism.

Appear in state and federal court as needed.
Required Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.

3–7 years of litigation experience, ideally in an Am Law firm or similarly demanding practice environment.

Substantial experience with complex commercial litigation matters, including financial disputes, business torts, contract claims, or related areas.

Meaningful deposition experience and familiarity with trial preparation and trial strategy.

Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail in drafting and editing.

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Excellent grammar and polished, professional drafting skills are essential.
