Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney on behalf of our client, a highly regarded law firm based in Coral Gables, Florida.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will have 3 + years of litigation experience, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex commercial litigation matters from inception through trial. This role offers the chance to work on challenging cases with a dynamic team that values collaboration, strategy, and excellence in advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.

• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

• Draft high-quality legal pleadings, motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, and correspondence.

• Perform detailed legal research and analysis on sophisticated issues.

• Participate in case strategy sessions with partners and clients, providing thoughtful, business-focused solutions.

• Manage client communications with responsiveness and professionalism.

• Appear in state and federal court as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.

• 3–7 years of litigation experience, ideally in an Am Law firm or similarly demanding practice environment.

• Substantial experience with complex commercial litigation matters, including financial disputes, business torts, contract claims, or related areas.

• Meaningful deposition experience and familiarity with trial preparation and trial strategy.

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills, with strong attention to detail in drafting and editing.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent grammar and polished, professional drafting skills are essential.
