Expert Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry (Framework LTC Experience Preferred)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) with prior experience in long-term care pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and familiarity with Framework LTC or similar pharmacy management software.

Key Responsibilities:

\t•\tAccurately enter new prescriptions, refills, and medication changes into Framework (or comparable system)

\t•\tReview, verify, and process prescriptions to ensure compliance and accuracy

\t•\tCommunicate effectively with prescribers, nurses, and internal staff regarding orders

\t•\tAssist with prior authorizations, refill requests, and documentation

\t•\tCollaborate with the billing and filling departments to ensure smooth workflow

\t•\tMaintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and state pharmacy laws

Qualifications:

\t•\tActive Florida Pharmacy Technician license (or eligible for transfer)

\t•\tMinimum 2 years of pharmacy data entry experience (LTC pharmacy preferred)

\t•\tExperience with Framework LTC software strongly preferred

\t•\tExceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability

\t•\tStrong communication and teamwork skills

\t•\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
