Low Voltage Technician
Pay: Competitive hourly wage — based on experience
We’re hiring Junior and Senior Low Voltage Technicians to join our growing team. If you’re dependable, take pride in clean, professional work, and enjoy learning new systems and technologies, we’d like to hear from you.
Minimum Requirements
- Clean driving record
- Experience with cabling (structured cabling, networking, or similar)
- Good attitude and a desire to learn and improve
What You’ll Work On
Technicians on our team may work with a variety of low voltage systems, including:
- Alarm Systems
- Video Surveillance (CCTV)
- Access Control
- Networking
- Structured Cabling
- Fiber Optics
- Pro Audio Visual
- Entry Gates
- Fire Alarms
Experience in every system type is not required. We’ll match responsibilities to your skill level and provide training where appropriate.
Roles & Responsibilities (Based on Experience)
Junior Technician (Entry-Level / Developing)
- Assist with installation of cabling and devices under supervision
- Pull, label, terminate, and test cable runs
- Support system rough-in and trim-out work
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Learn proper tools, standards, and best practices
Senior Technician (Experienced / Lead-Capable)
- Lead installations and service work for low voltage systems
- Troubleshoot, test, and commission systems to spec
- Interpret project plans, wiring diagrams, and scope documents
- Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades
- Mentor junior technicians and ensure quality workmanship
