Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm with offices in Miami, FL, 33131 actively is seeking an experienced Appellate Attorney to join their burgeoning practice.
The firm is renowned for handling a wide array of appellate matters nationwide, including cases in federal and state courts, with a strong presence in the U.S. Supreme Court.
This opportunity arises due to continued growth in their appellate division, which boasts a team of board-certified appellate specialists handling high-profile cases across various legal areas.
Position: Attorney – Appellate Practice
Location: Miami, FL (33131)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling appellate cases in state and federal courts.
- Reviewing trial records and drafting persuasive briefs.
- Analyzing and framing legal and factual issues aligned with the appellate standard of review.
- Conducting extensive legal research and presenting oral arguments.
Key Requirements:
- 2 to 7 years of appellate experience.
- Proficiency in state and federal civil and appellate procedures.
- Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with high-level civil appeals in areas such as commercial litigation, insurance, products liability, and class actions.
- Proven ability to handle a wide variety of extraordinary relief proceedings.
