Purpose of Position:
This Legal Intern position provides essential support to the Legal Department by assisting with research, document management, project support, and administrative functions. The role helps ensure departmental goals, compliance requirements, and case‑related tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
Interns will assist with legal research, document organization, contract administration tasks, and cross-functional projects, while gaining insight into corporate legal functions such as compliance, litigation, intellectual property, and commercial contracting.
Accountabilities:
- Legal Research & Case Support
- Conduct legal and regulatory research under attorney supervision, perform preliminary analysis, and assist with audits.
- Support department projects related to compliance, governance, or litigation.
- Help organize and maintain case files, legal databases, and internal resources
- Support the maintenance, tracking, updating, and organization of department cases, files, and related documentation.
- Departmental & Contract Administration
- Assist the General Counsel and Paralegal with contract review processes.
- Support the renewal and issuance of corporate certificates.
- Prepare legal documents and assist with special projects or ad hoc assignments as needed.
- Department Operations & Cross Functional Support
- Assist with internal training materials, presentations, and departmental communications.
- Support special projects across functions such as HR, IT, Finance, and Marketing.
- Help coordinate document requests, approvals, and signatures.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned by the Legal Department.

- Develop professional communication and organizational skills.
- Build foundational knowledge of contracts, compliance, and legal operations.
- Observe how legal teams support business functions in a global company.
Minimum Skills Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Interest in law, business, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality while exhibiting professionalism and sound judgment.
Preferred:
- Strong business communication skills, both oral and written, with attention to clarity and accuracy.
- College degree in a related field (e.g., Legal Studies, Business Administration, Political Science) from an accredited institution.
- Previous administrative experience within a legal environment or support role.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Covus, Org Plus, or similar business and document management applications.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both oral and written
