Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Cellphone Repair Technician and Office Help to join our dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise in repairing a wide range of mobile devices with essential office support duties. You will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert repairs on smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices, while also assisting with administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various mobile devices, including Android and iOS smartphones, tablets, and other electronics.
- Perform hardware repairs such as soldering components, replacing screens, batteries, and internal parts using hand tools and schematics.
- Drive to our customers to drop off orders
- Bookkeeping/data entry and inventory management utilizing inventory and billing software
- Provide technical support to customers both in-store and over the phone, explaining repair processes and device issues clearly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and calibrated.
Requirements
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices with knowledge of operating systems like Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS.
- Strong familiarity with schematics for detailed hardware troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in electronics repair and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to analyze device problems quickly and accurately to determine the best repair approach.
- Excellent communication skills for providing clear technical support to customers.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and software troubleshooting methods.
- Experience working in field service or retail sales environments is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
