Are you ready to launch a hands-on career in the fast-growing world of fiber optics as a Fiber Optic Installer & Repair Technician? Myakka Communications is a locally trusted provider of high-speed connectivity, and we're looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us.
No experience? No problem — we’ll train you.
What You’ll Do:
• Install and replace fiber optic systems in residential and commercial environments
• Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi routers and wireless networks
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Explain installation procedures and answer customer questions
• Maintain clean workspaces and accurate job documentation
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong people skills — you’ll be the face of our company
• Mechanically and technically inclined
• Comfortable with computers and networking basics
• Willing to learn — training is provided
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated to succeed
Drug test and background check will be performed.
