Construction Project Specialist

Growth at Polyglass has led to the need for new facilities and we are seeking a strong construction project specialist to make it all happen!


What You Get to Do:

• Partner with Management team members to support construction activities for Polyglass headquarters building refurbishment, which also includes:

  • Cost and budget tracking
  • Requisitions review and approvals
  • Project and Construction management.
  • Contractor and vendor oversight and relationship management.
  • City, County, & Fire Marshal permitting process and inspections

• Prioritize safety and ensure all contractors follow OSHA standards and safety best practices

• Ensures quality of work conducted by setting standards, providing regular review andfeedback

• Effectively track project details via project management tools

• Manage project goals effectively including budget, timelines, project schedule, productivity and scope

• Administer all contracts with vendors – mitigating risk, tracking all documentation, ensuring legal compliance by all parties involved

• Successfully administer all projects documents involved in project including contracts, RFI’s, quotes, permits, architectural drawings, etc.

• Proactively communicate by provides regular project updates to Polyglass stakeholders, third parties and employees as to construction schedules, delays, interruptions, progress and more. Anticipate issues, delays or disruptions to the project and successfully pivot to resolve issues before impact to project budget, scope or timeline


The Skills and Profile You Bring to Polyglass:

• You live local to Deerfield Beach, FL and can oversee projects on-site daily at our offices. We are only accepting local candidates at this time

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture preferred

• 2-5 years’ experience supporting building construction projects and/or experience with various building construction and office redesigns as well as knowledge of architectural design, MEP (mechanical, electrical, & plumbing) and/or Interior design is strongly preferred

• Proficiency in Excel, Project Management tools such as MS Project, MS Teams, PowerPoint

• Ability to be on-site at our offices in Deerfield Beach, FL daily. After hours work may be required at times.

• Understanding of various aspects of construction project management including project document management, bidding, permitting, reporting, vendor management and project management best practices
