Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Attorney to join our legal team for a Partner position. This position is responsible for providing expert legal advice and services on a variety of real estate matters, including transactions, litigation, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, be adept at handling complex legal issues, and possess excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, leases, and development agreements.
- Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including disputes and negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents related to real estate.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on real estate laws and regulations.
- Advise clients on compliance with local and federal real estate laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including developers, brokers, and financial institutions, to facilitate smooth transactions.
Must Have
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in FL
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactions and litigation
- Portable book of business
