Job Description

Looking for a candidate that develops, establishes, and maintains quality systems and processes that meet company and customer needs.


Responsibilities


  • Return Process Oversight – Oversee and coordinate the handling of product returns, ensuring efficient evaluation of returned items. Investigate the underlying causes, communicate results, and apply both immediate and long-term solutions.
  • Quality System Development – Spearhead efforts to establish and roll out a comprehensive quality management framework across the organization.
  • ERP Integration for Quality – Act as the primary liaison from the quality function during the deployment of enterprise-wide software. Ensure alignment between the quality management framework and ERP capabilities.
  • Launch of New Products – Direct quality planning and execution for introduction of new manufacturing processes. This includes leading risk assessments such as FMEA, analyzing dimensional tolerance impacts, validating machine capabilities, procuring inspection tools, creating data collection standards, and overseeing the initial inspection of newly manufactured components.
  • Process Validation and Product Testing – Identify optimal techniques for confirming process stability and ensuring output meets quality benchmarks. Implement and monitor key data-driven systems such as first pass yield tracking, statistical controls, and structured audits for processes, finished goods, and packaging.
  • Nonconformance Review Management – Establish and run a formal process to handle nonconforming material reviews.
  • Audit Execution – Perform structured evaluations of products, procedures, and systems both within the facility and at supplier locations as needed to ensure alignment with standards and expectations.
  • Supplier Quality Oversight – Manage incoming material inspection programs and maintain quality-related supplier documentation such as initial part submissions, deviation records, and qualification reports.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of GR&R – Gage repeatability and reproducibility
  • Knowledge of MSA – Measurement System Analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or a technical role.
  • Experienced in quality management systems (QMS)
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Experience with new product introduction.
  • Experience with ISO 9001.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
