Professional, groomed applicants with a minimum 2 - 3 years Millwork experience in a manufacturing environment ONLY need apply.
Responsibilities/Functions
• Fabricates and assembles elevator ceiling and wall components from provided drawings, sketches and verbal directives.
• Proficiently and safely handles various finished materials including metal, glass, resins and laminates.
• Operates and maintains general wood working machines and tools, such as table saw, arbor saw, edge-bander, chop saws, handheld router, glue gun, drills, sanding and grinding equipment,
• Ensures that the shop area is kept clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.
• Communicates inventory needs to appropriate team members and assists with managing and maintaining storage of raw materials, work in progress and finished items.
Skills & Experience
• Must be able to read and interpret SHOP RELEASE Drawings and Work Orders and apply fabrication techniques accordingly.
• Must possess a knowledge of millwork industry and material fabrication techniques.
• Must be able to work well both with a team and independently.
• Must exhibit proficient and clear interpersonal & communication skills in English.
• Must have strong math, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Must demonstrate awareness and concern for all health and safety protocols.
• Must be capable of remaining calm and clear-headed in an emergency.
• Must manage time and priorities efficiently.
• Must be able to multi-task effectively.
• Must pay attention to quality & detail and take pride in your work.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Additional Information
Hours · 7am – 5:30pm, Mon – Thu (excluding federal holidays).
· Overtime hours may be required based upon project volume.
Compensation/Benefits · $23 - $30 per hour commensurate with experience & education· Medical benefits available after 60 days· 3 weeks paid vacation per year, accrued bi-weekly· 5 paid holidays per year
