Work Schedule
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM. Enjoy a 10% shift differential for working the 2nd shift!

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Histotechnologist, you will:
- Process human tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic examination
- Produce histopathological slides from surgical specimens
- Section embedded tissue using a microtome and mount sections on microscope slides
- Conduct immunohistochemical tests on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections
- Perform routine and special staining procedures
- Maintain laboratory instruments and ensure quality control
- Document equipment maintenance and adhere to laboratory policies
- Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- Florida Histotechnologist license (required)
- Histology and/or ASCP certifications (preferred)
- Previous experience in histology (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with routine histology procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume laboratory environment
- Comfort with embedding both large and small specimens
- Successful completion of medical surveillance testing as part of onboarding
