We are seeking an experienced Medical Practice Manager to lead and oversee the administrative and operational functions of our growing practice.

Position Summary

The Medical Practice Manager will be responsible for the overall management of clinic operations, ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and an exceptional patient experience. This role works closely with physicians and leadership to support high-quality cardiology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the cardiology practice
  • Manage and supervise administrative and clinical support staff
  • Coordinate physician schedules, clinic workflow, and patient flow
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and payer requirements
  • Oversee medical billing, coding, revenue cycle, and insurance processes
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and operational KPIs
  • Develop, implement, and enforce clinic policies and procedures
  • Address patient concerns and maintain high patient satisfaction standards
  • Manage vendor relationships, medical supplies, and equipment
  • Support physician leadership with strategic planning and operational reporting

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in medical practice management (specialty practice preferred; cardiology strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes
  • Experience with EHR/EMR and practice management systems
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, compliance, and healthcare regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a multi-provider cardiology practice
  • Familiarity with cardiology procedures and workflows
  • Financial management and budgeting experience
