Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Hollywood, FL, serving K-12 students. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, supporting diverse caseloads across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Manage and maintain caseloads effectively, ensuring timely delivery of therapy sessions
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Offer supervision for Clinical Fellows in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Participate in documentation, assessments, and progress reporting as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred
- Eligibility or ability to provide supervision for Clinical Fellows during CFY
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads in a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Details:
- Location: Hollywood, FL
- Contract position for the full school year (NSY)
- Multiple openings available
- Full-time option: 35 hours per week
- Part-time option: 17 hours per week (candidates may combine two part-time roles to make full-time)
