Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Boca Raton, FL (Four buildings within 1 mile of each other)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM + rotating on-call schedule
Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime rare; only for emergencies)
Compensation: $21–$25 per hour (based on experience) + $100/month travel reimbursement
Benefits: Health insurance (60/40 contribution), optional dental & vision, 2 weeks PTO after 1 year, 5 personal days after 90 days

Our client is seeking a dependable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair needs of four commercial buildings located within one mile of each other in Boca Raton. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance across four buildings, including electrical, plumbing, painting (high priority), drywall repair, fixture installation, and basic carpentry.
- Respond to routine maintenance requests, work orders, and occasional emergency needs.
- Conduct building walk-throughs and inspections to ensure systems and equipment are functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors on tasks, updates, and issues.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency situations (rare).
- Travel between buildings as needed (all located within 1 mile).
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds without difficulty.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Drywall installation/repair
- Fixture installation
- Basic general maintenance
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a long-standing, close-knit team.
- Reliable, energetic, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures.
