Construction Superintendent

Join CPM Builders, a dynamic and esteemed Florida-based general contractor, as we seek a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to lead our field operations and expertly manage subcontractors at project sites. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and our dedicated team to ensure the successful delivery of projects, making a lasting impact in the construction industry.
Requirements: -
Experience: A minimum of 7 years in the construction industry, with a proven track record as a construction superintendent or in a similar leadership role. -
Specialization: Expertise in interior construction build-outs, particularly within commercial spaces.
Technical Skills: A strong ability to interpret construction drawings across all trades, ensuring flawless execution
Computer Literacy: Proficient in relevant software applications.
Bilingual: Fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing for seamless communication.
Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours and weekends based on project demands.
Mobility: Open to temporarily relocating outside of Florida for approximately 4 to 5 months, depending on project requirements.
Responsibilities: -
Project Leadership: Oversee every facet of the project from planning to completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient closeout.
Team Coordination: Organize, lead, and monitor the daily activities of a diverse team, including trade partners, subcontractors, vendors, and laborers.
Effective Communication: Foster strong relationships through clear and effective communication with all stakeholdersteam members, trade partners, clients, owners, and architects.
Safety Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety, health, and quality on-site.
Meeting Facilitation: Set up and conduct job progress and safety meetings to maintain project momentum.
Schedule Management: Create, monitor, and adhere to project schedules, preventing delays and controlling costs.
Resource Tracking: Keep a close watch on equipment and materials orders to ensure timely availability.
Inspections: Plan and execute thorough inspections across all trades to uphold quality standards.
Site Management: Maintain a pristine and safe job site, fostering a productive working environment
Material Procurement: Effectively procure all job-related materials and equipment to support project success.
Preferred Certifications:- OSHA 30 Hour Training. - CPR / First Aid / AED Training.
Working Conditions: Travel Ready
Must be willing to travel (within and outside of Florida) and relocate for short-term assignments as needed.
Adaptability: May occasionally be required to work nights and weekends, demonstrating flexibility to meet project demands.
