Position Summary

We are seeking aClinical Psychologistto join our embedded care team at a leading inpatient medical rehabilitation facility in Tavares, FL. This role is ideal for apsychologistwho wants hands-on medical experience, a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and an opportunity to provide behavioral healthcare leadership and psychological expertise within a medical unit that values integrated, team-based care.

Youll be embedded within a collaborative interdisciplinary team and supported by seasoned clinicians who prioritizeevidence-based care, learning, and long-term development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions for medically complex adult populations
• Conduct brief psychological assessments and support treatment planning
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Participate in rounds and case conferences to align on patient care
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with clinical and billing standards
• Engage in ongoing peer consultation and performance feedback

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyDin Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program
• Licensed (or license-eligible)in the state of Florida
• Experience or strong interest inmedical psychology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and team collaboration
