Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Pharmacy Technicians with expertise in IV compounding are needed to support hospital pharmacy operations in a busy healthcare environment located in South Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced hospital setting, assisting with sterile compounding and hazardous drug preparation in compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards. Candidates with a strong knowledge of hazardous drug handling and hospital pharmacy workflows will thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile intravenous (IV) compounding following USP <797> and <800> guidelines
- Safely prepare and handle hazardous drugs adhering to regulatory standards
- Support inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient medication preparation and delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification with IV compounding expertise
- Knowledge and experience with USP <797> and <800> sterile compounding standards
- Experience handling hazardous drugs in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
