Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to design, develop, and commission control systems for large-scale industrial automation projects. This role involves end-to-end electrical and controls engineering, from initial design through installation and startup.
Key Responsibilities
- Design control systems from scratch (hardware, software, and networks)
- Create electrical panel designs and system calculations
- Program and implement PLC/DCS control systems
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Ensure designs meet client, safety, and regulatory standards
- Support system startup and on-site commissioning
- Act as technical lead and support junior engineers as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- 5+ years of controls engineering experience (industrial automation)
- Strong PLC programming skills (Ladder Logic and Structured Text required)
- Experience with AutoCAD and major PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
- Knowledge of safety systems and industrial standards preferred
