High Tech Supplies is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician with strong multitasking abilities to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electronics, a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and repairs, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple tasks.
Job Description
This position plays a role in both technical work and customer service, coordinating our Service Department and ensuring the smooth operation of all service-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Service Department’s day-to-day operations.
- Answer customer calls and provide technical support or service updates.
- Receive incoming equipment, log service requests, and evaluate required services.
- Perform diagnostics, calibration, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment.
- Prepare quotes, estimates, and issue invoices for services performed.
- Package and ship serviced equipment back to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience as an electronic technician, preferably in a service environment.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); working knowledge of Spanish is required.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with invoicing, logistics, and customer service processes.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with calibration procedures and industry standards.
- Working knowledge of inventory management and shipping systems.
