Job DescriptionDescription:
The Concierge Patient Experience Coordinator is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment of first-class customer service through positive interactions with patients and their families for Cancer Center of South Florida, PLLC (“CCSF”) including, but not limited to, welcoming, directing and proactively collecting from and providing information to patients and their families.
CORE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate care for new and VIP patients, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up, ensuring a high-touch, concierge-level experience.
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and departments, guiding patients through their care journey across CCSF and TGH networks.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and nursing staff to optimize clinic flow, enhance patient satisfaction, and streamline care coordination.
- Assist with provider schedule management, including time-off planning and template adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely acquisition of external medical records and diagnostics for clinical decision-making.
- Partner with administrative teams to support pre-registration, insurance verification, and billing for VIP patients.
- Investigate and resolve complex patient issues with professionalism and a service-first mindset.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and special projects focused on enhancing patient experience and clinic operations.
Requirements:
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSE OR REGISTRATION:
- None
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, medical terminology, and patient scheduling practices.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
