SALARY: Starting at $ 66,47 (commensurate with experience)
SUMMARY: This essential position performs intermediate-level map updates of attribute and text entries on GIS (Geographic Information System) and Tyler CAMA (Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal) Technology databases.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties of the Cadastral Mapper II include but are not limited to the following:
- Input intermediate graphic and parcel-related data into feature classes within a ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) Versioned Geodatabase environment using ArcMap/ArcPro software.
- Perform mapping duties related to cadastral maps, including (COGO) coordinate geometry mapping of intermediate parcel splits and aggregations, zoning and annexation ordinances, interpretation of property descriptions for the purpose of parcel conveyance, and ability to draft property descriptions for tax roll purposes.
- Participate in departmental cross-training, job-sharing and job duty reorganization efforts as directed by supervisor.
- Meet all attendance and punctuality requirements by reporting for work consistently and on time in accordance with office policy.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Years of experience required: Must have three (3) years appropriate mapping and property description, records experience which includes at least two (2) years of ArcGIS or CAD experience. ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcCatalog or CAD, COGO and Adobe Post Document Format (.PDF) experience needed. Should also be familiar with standard office software including Microsoft Word, Outlook & SharePoint.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related Creative execution with an online portfolio of design samples.
- Substitution: Each year of required education may be substituted by two (2) years of work experience. Each year of required work experience may be substituted by two (2) years of additional education.
- Additional skills required: Ability to rapidly acquire and retain knowledge of administrative and procedural regulations. Proven attention to detail, reliability and outstanding organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects under minimal supervision.
- Certificates, licenses, and registrations: Must obtain Certified Cadastralist of Florida (CCF) designation within (3) years of assignment to this position.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat. Ability to create and edit PDF documents, prepare fillable forms, and share and review forms.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
