Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead various construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all phases of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project status updates to stakeholders and executive management.
- Utilize project management software to track progress and manage documentation.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to address them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Familiarity with project management software tools (e.g., Procore, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and relationships with clients.
- Ability to analyze project performance and implement improvements based on findings.
- PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory.
