We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in facilities maintenance. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently, performing repairs, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, conducting routine inspections, and providing excellent customer service to internal teams.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 hourly depending on experience

Hours: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm with over time

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all machinery to ensure it's at working standards
• Manage outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
• Documenting progress reports and maintenance logs.
• Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair as necessary.
• Reinforcing machinery safety, safety training and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain conveyor systems, automated packing system& Robotics
• Complete additional assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Advanced motor controls experience as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, industrial and plumbing knowledge

Requirements

• At least 6 months of electrical experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand wiring Schematics, Pneumatics and Hydraulics
• Excellent English communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
• Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
