Position Overview

Job Title: Sr. Electrical Engineer
Location: Titusville, FL (Onsite only)
Duration: Fulltime

Important:

  • This position is strictly onsite; remote work is not available.

You will:

  • Study existing systems and understand their significance.
  • Visualize potential improvements and help implement them through direct engineering oversight.
  • Guide young engineers and support in-house production efforts.
  • Contribute to early-stage prototyping (including motor winding and PCB board fabrication in-house).
  • Participate in defining customer-specific requirements and solutions.
  • Work on a current project involving a hybrid (electric/gas) outboard motor intended for DOD use.
  • Assist in qualifying both the product and the company for government and commercial customers.

Note: The role requires strong enthusiasm and hands-on effort to succeed in this high-impact environment.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) or higher.
  • Experience with:
    • Motor design
    • Control circuits
    • PCB board fabrication
    • Magnetic design
    • Programming
    • IT systems
  • Familiarity with the following tools/software:
    • Altium
    • SolidWorks
    • Camworks
    • J Mag
    • SIMBA
    • Microsoft Office
  • Experience using lab tools such as:
    • 30 hp dynamometer
    • Oscilloscope
    • Power measurement devices
