Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using ammeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, to ensure proper integration of electrical systems into building frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or code violations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on job sites
Requirements
- Experienced electrician (apprentices considered with strong skills)
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices is preferred.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Proficient in using hand tools related to electrical work.
- Knowledge of NEC standards and regulations is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
